About
International Nature Namur Festival
The Festival International Nature Namur, established in 1995, has become a significant gathering for nature enthusiasts and photography aficionados. Each year, it attracts over 35,000 diverse spectators and visitors. With four international competitions encompassing photography, amateur and professional films, and ultra-short films, along with numerous outdoor activities, the festival ranks among the top five European events of its kind. It brings together photographers and filmmakers from across the globe.
The festival primarily focuses on nature and wildlife, occasionally accepting films related to nature conservation. Over the course of 10 days, FINN offers an inspiring program of films, breathtaking photographs, and immersive human encounters, all dedicated to the celebration of nature and the image.
A diverse range of activities for both children and adults are organized during the festival. These include competitions, film screenings, galas and previews, photo exhibitions, conferences and debates, nature-based activities, school events, and a nature village, among others.
This special edition of FINN will highlight the return of wolves to Belgium. As a preview, our President Tanguy Dumortier’s highly anticipated new film on this very topic will be screened.
The festival serves as an unmissable meeting point for naturalists and nature conservationists and will feature the participation of renowned organizations such as the Cercles des Naturalistes de Belgique, the Département Nature et Forêt, WWF, and Le Jardin Extraordinaire.
